United Kingdom will Remain in EU VAT Regime Until the End of 2020
The European Commission has confirmed that the United Kingdom will remain in the European Union (EU) VAT regime until December 31, 2020 (the end of the 19-month Brexit transitions period), although Brexit currently is scheduled for March 29, 2019. This means that the EU VAT Directive rules on cross-border transactions will still apply until the end of 2020.
