VAT Refund Possibilities when attending Hannover Fair in Germany, April 2016

For the first time in history, the US will be the official partner country of the Hannover Messe in Germany, April 25-29, 2016. Hannover Messe is the largest industrial trade fair in the world with over 6,500 exhibitors and hundreds of thousands of visitors. Hannover Messe, according to the Deutsche Messe press release, is the perfect place for the US to, “reinforce its reputation as a high-caliber manufacturer of competitive, top-quality products.” There will be a major US pavilion with plenty of booths and activities promoting US companies and regions. President Obama will officially open the show together with German Chancellor Merkel.

A meeting will be held at the German Consulate in Los Angeles on Friday, January 29 for any North American company that is interested in participating with a booth or attend the Hannover Fair.
