Austria increases their reduced VAT (MWST) rate from 10% to 13% this month

The Austrian government has decided to increase their reduced VAT (MWST) rate from 10% to 13% on January 1, 2016. The reduced VAT rate is mainly applied to lodging, meals and public transportation.
